Spay / Neuter

In 2011 The Animal Center of Moore County took in over 3,800 animals. We can house about a hundred.  Although we have one of the highest adoption rates in the state, we still are forced to euthanize far too many adoptable animals.

It is our goal is to become a no kill shelter as that term is defined by the Humane Society of the United States. The only way that will ever be possible, is for Moore County citizens, who do not have a need to allow their animals to reproduce, to have them spayed or neutered.
