The Moore County Sheriff's Office currently offers a safety education class called Refuse To Be A Victim. The class which is sponsored by the NRA helps educate people about basic crime prevention and personal safety. The presentation can be tailored to fit in a 1 to 4 hour block depending on the needs of the participants. Over 60 presentations have been done in the past three years to groups such as; civic organizations, boy scouts, women's organizations, church groups and home health professionals.
