The project will expand the capacity of the plant from 6.7 million gallons per day (mgd) to 10 mgd as well as rehabilitate and modernize the existing facility.  Work on this project began mid-October 2011 and final completion is scheduled for April 2013.  The 10 mgd capacity is expected to last approximately twenty years.  The current facility, constructed in 1977, is located on a 55 acre tract in the Addor community with lines and interceptors located throughout Moore County.
