flag-animated ELECTIONEERING

Electioneering is any person or group seeking to influence voters by distributing campaign information by hand or voice, displaying campaign signs or wearing campaign T-shirts, hats, pins, buttons while loitering or congregating.

At the Polling Place:

**Electioneering within 50 feet of the entrance to the building is PROHIBITED!**

For Precinct Officials:

Between 6:30am & 7:30pm, election officials should enforce the electioneering buffer zone by:

alt Keeping the buffer zone free of campaigners and campaign signs.

alt Clearing voting booths of campaign literature left behind by voters.

alt Providing a trash can in the voting enclosure in which voters may discard campaign items if they choose to.

alt Refraining from wearing clothing, pins, etc. that display a preference for a candidate or political party.
