Step into the enchanting world of puppets! The Moore Soil and Water Conservation District Office provides puppet shows for all Moore County Schools, public and private.
Damien and Darla invite students on a "beach vacation" and explain the importance of cleaning up after a day at the beach. Also discussed is the need to keep our oceans clean. Students are introduced to "Clean Water Charlie" and his book "Crabby's Water Wish"with an opportunity for hugs and hand shakes as they return to their classroom.

Sammy, Uncle Old McDonald, and Susie invite the children along to visit a farm. In "Get Blankets, Get Parachutes" ground cover, contour farming, crop rotation and erosion are presented in a fun, factual, easy to understand show sure to delight the youngest to oldest audience.

"The Past" is a show for older students who will travel back in time with Mrs. Smith and her friend Sammy. Mrs. Smith takes us back to life in the pioneer days.
