Moore County Community Development seeks to build the capacity of Moore County’s communities to successfully meet their own needs. Community Development staff:

1. Administers CDBG grants including: Scattered Site Housing (2006, 2009); Addor (2006) and Riverbend (2009) Urgent Needs.
2. Coordinates Census 2010 Complete Count Committee activities.
3. Maintains wait list for home repair and rehab assistance and seeks grants to aid applicants.
4. Seeks support for sustainable small-scale economic development.
