The Moore County Code Enforcement Office provides inspection services to the unincorporated area of the county as well as the following municipalities:

Residents of Aberdeen, Pinebluff, Pinehurst and Southern Pines should contact their respective municipal building inspections departments for information regarding building and fire code questions. Manufactured HomesAll manufactured homes placed, erected or located on any parcel or lot must have either a solid foundation or skirting that fully encloses the crawl space beneath the manufactured home. Materials for skirting shall be those generally used for skirting purposes. Skirting or the construction of a solid foundation shall be completed within 90 days of the issuance of a Conditional Certificate of Occupancy. The Conditional Certificate of Occupancy shall be revoked and the manufactured home will be disconnected from power if the skirting of solid foundation is not completed within 90 days. An additional 90 day period may be authorized by the Zoning Administrator at the request of the applicant.
