BID ADVERTISEMENTS BY ELECTRONIC PUBLIC NOTICES
COUNTY OF MOORE
PURSUANT to Section 143-129(b) of the General Statutes of North Carolina, which states, "A decision to advertise solely by electronic means, whether for particular contracts or generally for all contracts that are subject to this Article, shall be approved by the governing board of the political subdivision of the State at a regular meeting of the board," the Moore County Board of Commissioners authorized use of advertisement by electronic means at their meeting on June 7, 2010. Effective immediately all bids, request for proposals and request for qualifications will be posted on the County of Moore website www.moorecountync.gov, under Bid Opportunities.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
Moore County is seeking qualifications from qualified, professional firms for Special Inspections, Materials Testing and Quality Control to be performed for a proposed new Detention Center and Public Safety Complex. All proposing firms shall submit five copies of the Qualification Package. Submissions are due no later than August 4, 2010 at 3:00 pm.
These proposals shall be sent to the Moore County Department of Public Works, P.O. Box 1927 Carthage, NC 27327 to the attention of Megan Garner, Grants Administrator. Additional information relating to the requirements may be obtained by e-mailing mmgarner@moorecountync.gov. In addition, the plans and specifications for the proposed complex may be reviewed at the Department of Public Works Office at 5227 Highway 15/501 in Carthage, North Carolina.
