JUVENILE CRIME PREVENTION COUNCIL

The Moore County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) anticipates the availability of $181,745 dollars in intervention and prevention funds for services to youth who are adjudicated delinquent or undisciplined or who are at most risk of court involvement. JCPC funds require a local cash or in-kind match of 30%.
Based on the JCPC planning process conducted to date, the continuum of program services and structures needed in the County are identified below but are not listed in priority order:
1. Psychological Evaluations
2. Sex Offender Specific Evaluations & Treatment
3. Restitution/Community Service
4. Parenting Classes
5. Life Skills
6. Mentoring
7. Teen Court
8. Anger Management Classes
Local public agencies, 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporations and local housing authorities are invited to submit applications (Programs Agreements) to provide any of the intervention services listed above. In order to apply for FY 2012-2013 JCPC Funding, applicants must complete and submit your Program online by accessing the new NC ALLIES application at http://www.juvjus.state.nc.us/jcpc/forms_agreements.html

PURSUANT to Section 143-129 of the General Statutes of North Carolina sealed proposals titled "SOLID WASTE ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING SERVICES,” may be furnished to the County of Moore, Financial Service, Attn: Terra Vuncannon, 206 S. Ray St., Carthage, North Carolina 28327 until 4:00 pm Thursday March 1, 2012.
The intent of the County is to obtain proposals for professional solid waste environmental consulting services for the County of Moore. Instructions for submitting proposals and complete specifications for the services desired may be obtained at the above address during regular office hours or by the link below.
